Aurora Kennel has been respected for excellence in all-breed dog and cat grooming and pet care since 1968. Knowledgeable, dedicated professionals striving to provide your pet the very best quality grooming service and boarding care. Our “open door” policy allows you to see where your pet is bathed and groomed as well as where your pet will eat, sleep, play and exercise while boarding with us. Central heat and air throughout the kennel, with auxiliary heat and air units, will surpass your expectations for comfort. Our philosophy is basic, old fashioned principles: #1 cleanliness, #2 good food, #3 room to run and #4 individual attention. Spending time with your pet is our privilege, therefore we never charge for playtimes. There is no licensing for grooming shops or kennels, therefore we recommend inspecting any grooming shop and/or boarding kennel before leaving your pet.

Nutrition and Feeding
Our belief is that nutrition is paramount to the health and well-being of your pet. At Aurora Kennel, we select foods, biscuits and treats with only the finest human grade ingredients available. These foods are not found in grocery or mass marketing pet stores and are on the approved list of The Whole Dog Journal, meeting their stringent criteria for wholesome food. We only use and sell what we feed our very own personal pets. Dry and can foods, biscuits and treats are available in our retail shop, along with select grooming products and tools. We are available anytime to answer any questions concerning your pet. We are always happy to help in any way possible.
